Realizing the same we at Horizons Unlimited came to start working and towards healthy successful marriages between the eligible companies in India with suitor customers in the West almost a decade ago. Since inception we have tried and successfully developed relationships with International Associates in USA, Europe, Hong Kong and even Mainland China.

Our Resource
A first generation business established almost a decade ago to support the emerging Indian textile, handicrafts and furniture market. Horizons Unlimited today has close to 280 man years of collective expertise in related fields and it is the composite blend of youth and experience that its customers benefit from.
It is our effort to offer freshness without getting the basics wrong –through design and years of experience in production. The Indian Retail Initiative opening the company became a ready design and sourcing platform for a lot of retail organization. This has helped us gain more insight into Indian market and given us hands-on experience on local customer needs.
Some of our Design Projects.
- Supporting a European Fashion Clothing label – with complete development of their design in woven, knits and leather that was showcased in Paris.
- Supporting an American Designer with hand painted suede collection.
- Supporting a Singapore based textile & Carpet Company with factories in China – source quality textiles from India for their customers.
- Liberty India – A Panipat based jacquard manufacturer – undertook a project for designing a collection for Heimtextil – Frankfurt. The scope was to design cushion covers, place mat and throws each coordinating with the other.
- Sea Side Impex – A Kerala based company with design of Cotton Handloom Upholstery and Curtain Fabric Collections. They work Pier 1 and customers from Li & Fung.
- A-Z Fabrics – Mumbai based exporter design and develop collections for cottons, silks and embroidered fabrics for their customers in Europe and Middle East.
- Ram Coir Co – A coir exporter was assisted by us with a collection of designs for their buyers abroad.
- Shiva Overseas – A bath and jute manufacturer from Noida with a collection of very contemporary bath mats, and jute rugs and also some cushions and throws.

Pragya – A Kerala based company with setting up of sampling set-up for fabric weaving and testing of fabrics as per specifications lay down by their Japanese buyers.

Set up a School for a reputed buying agent – as a part of the social initiative. Complete responsibility from building to identification and selection of an NGO to run the same.

UD Engineering – At Gurgaon with project planning and management of their new factory for production of leather fashion accessories. The scope of the project was right from the architectural stage and involved Horizons taking assistance from Civil Engineers to oversee the construction and the interiors of the factory and office. Liasoning with suppliers of machinery, equipment, furniture and fixtures for the premises.

Nice Overseas – a furnishing fabric manufacturer – was assisted by us to with complete know-how to set-up a facility that was supervised by us.

Competent – a home textile made-up manufacturer was assisted with complete know-how and in the setting up of a unit.

MPM Intl. – a home textile made-up manufacturer was assisted with complete know how and in the setting up of their unit.

The company’s initiative in education & training – was initiated on the realization of the huge industry – academia divide.
From visits to academia as industry trainers today we have a Knowledge Management Division – that not only helps streamlining Academia – Industry partnership but also focuses on engages in looking at newer opportunities in the industry.
Four years into the trade the Knowledge Management Initiative has today become a composite Talent Transformation Initiative for Horizons Unlimited with International Trade, Marketing, Retail, Merchandising, Product Development, Customer Care and Brand Building its main areas of focus.
However, our intiative to support a program – offering Professional Sports Training with One of World’s Premier Technical Institutes our own IIT-Kanpur tops it all. A Summer Squash Camp – 2009 is in which 40 future technocrats are participating actually comes out of an overlap of our Presidents passion for promoting the game. On community front the company is engaged with NGO’s and supports causes like primary education in villages and plantation of trees in two states namely – Haryana and Rajasthan.

With Squash Rackets as its focus the company is supporting the development of game in the state of Uttar Pradesh through its initiative at IIT – Kanpur and the National Capital Region – Delhi jointly under the umbrella of Squash Rackets Federation of India, and Uttar Pradesh Squash Rackets Association. Our Senior President – is a former National Level Squash player and currently associates with the game as:
- A International Referee and
- A Consultant Coach associated with various local bodies in the National Capital Region – Delhi.

This has seen the formation of Sports 4 Health Unlimited – that is training and sponsoring for the last 4.5 years children between the age groups of 6 to 15 years.
